What type of equipment is used to produce plastic pipes?

The PVC pipe extrusion machine is used to produce pipes with different diameters by replacing extrusion dies. It can produce every size of pipe in the area of the agricultural water supply system, architectural water supply system, pavement of cables, etc.


How PVC is manufactured?

The electrolysis of salt water produces chlorine. The chlorine is then combined with ethylene that has been obtained from oil. The resulting element is ethylene dichloride, which is converted at very high temperatures to vinyl chloride monomer. These monomer molecules are polymerized forming polyvinyl chloride resin.


How PVC Pipes are Made?

First, the raw material pellets or powder feed into PVC twin screw extruder.

The raw material is melted and heated in multiple extruder zones.

Now it is extruded via a die to make in the shape.

After that, it is cooled.

In the end, the PVC pipes are cut at the required length.
